We checked 5 Christmas tree sellers near Worthing, from Ferring's charity tree weekend to a Devil's Dyke farm, for prices and dates. Updated November 2026.
There are five places to buy a real Christmas tree in or near Worthing in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, opening dates and what each one sells. Most people land on Ferring Country Centre, the charity farm in Ferring whose tree weekend is 28 and 29 November; Squire’s at Washington on the A24; and Devil’s Dyke Christmas Trees, a farm on the downs above Brighton. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.
We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. Only one seller inside the borough publishes its season online, so the rest are a short drive out along the A24, the A27 or the A29. Distances are straight-line from the town centre; the road is longer.
Prices for a 6ft tree
Three sellers publish a price for the size most homes buy.
| Seller | 6ft Nordmann fir | Smallest tree listed |
|---|---|---|
| Devil’s Dyke Christmas Trees, Devil’s Dyke | £60 | £30 (3ft) |
| Brighton and Hove Christmas Trees, delivered | £65 | £39.50 (5ft Norway spruce) |
| Furze Firs, Slinfold | £45 (cut your own, up to 6ft) | £45 |
Squire’s lists only pot-grown trees online, from £52 for an 80 to 100cm Nordmann fir; its cut trees are priced in the centre. Ferring Country Centre had not put 2026 tree prices online when we checked.

Getting rid of the tree in January
- Free council collection: last winter Adur and Worthing Councils collected real Christmas trees from beside the bins from 13 January, on each home’s next collection day. Our Christmas bin collections page has last year’s rules and will carry the 2027 dates when they are out.
- The tip: West Sussex tips take real trees in the green waste container; see tip opening times.
- Brighton and Hove Christmas Trees collects trees for recycling in January if you book it.
How we chose
These are the sellers within about 20 miles of Worthing that publish dates, prices or stock for 2026 on their own websites. We read each seller’s site, and its price list where there is one, on 5 November 2026. We left out sellers that only post on Facebook, a Steyning nursery among them, national online nurseries with no local base, and garden centres that had published nothing about real trees for this season. Prices are the sellers’ own, as published on that date.
