Worthing runs along the seafront with the Downs directly behind it and Cissbury Ring on the skyline. Lancing and Shoreham-by-Sea are east along the coast, with the airport, the houseboats and the tollbridge on the Adur, and Littlehampton is west past Goring and Ferring.
