For Christmas Day around Worthing, the lowest published price is the Waterside in Shoreham at £54.99 for four courses, with the Mulberry in Goring at £61.99. In Worthing itself, the North Star on Littlehampton Road is £79.95, and the Highdown at Goring is £109.95. Findon Manor is £105. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own site on 2 November 2026.

We have not eaten at any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry gives the price on the venue’s own 2026 Christmas Day menu, what it includes, children’s rates and deposit terms where the venue publishes them, and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) hygiene rating. All twelve are rated 5, the top score. Most are chain pubs, because they are the ones in and around Worthing that publish a Christmas Day price; independents that had not done so by 2 November are listed at the end.

In Worthing and Goring

1. The Highdown, Littlehampton Road

The Highdown is a Brunning & Price pub on the Littlehampton Road at Goring-by-Sea, next to Highdown Gardens. Its Christmas Day page sets one menu at £109.95 a head.

Starters include duck confit and green peppercorn terrine with spiced plum chutney, and a vegan cep mushroom arancini; the turkey comes with duck fat roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, sprouts and chestnuts. Each dish on the menu is marked with its calories and allergens, and gluten-free options are flagged.

The North Star is an Ember Inns pub on Littlehampton Road, on the west side of Worthing near the Durrington end. Its Christmas page prices Christmas Day at three courses for £79.95 for adults and £39.95 for children.

The same page lists a Boxing Day three-course menu at £33.50 (children £11.99) and a two-course festive set menu through December at £23.99, for anyone who wants a cheaper Christmas meal before the day.

3. The Mulberry, Goring Road

The Mulberry is a Greene King Flaming Grill pub on Goring Road at Goring-by-Sea. Its Christmas Day 2026 page offers four courses for £61.99, with choices for vegans and vegetarians and puddings for children.

A deposit of £10 per adult and £5 per child secures the table. Greene King pubs elsewhere have printed a different course count on their menu PDFs than on the web page, so check the menu when you book.

The Sussex Yeoman is a Hungry Horse pub on Palatine Road at Goring-by-Sea. Its Christmas Day page lists a three-course Christmas Day meal at £64.99 for adults and £24.99 for children, the lowest children’s price on this list.

The booking terms on the page ask for a deposit of £10 per adult and £5 per child, and say the booking is confirmed by email once the payment is made. Separate menus are published for children and for a non-gluten Christmas Day.

The Toby Carvery on Goring Road in West Worthing, which Toby lists as The George, builds its Christmas Day around the carvery. Its Christmas Day menu page prices the day at £77.99: a festive starter, then the carvery deck with hand-carved meats, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings.

The page does not give a children’s price or deposit terms, so ask when you book.

7. The Swallow’s Return, Titnore Lane

The Swallow’s Return is a Vintage Inns pub at 1 Titnore Lane, on the Worthing and Ferring border. Its 2026 Christmas Day menu PDF is three courses for £104.95, and the children’s Christmas Day menu is three courses for £42.50.

Starters include a trio of baked scallops and baked figs with blue cheese and prosciutto; mains include roast duck with dauphinoise potatoes, pan-roasted monkfish, noisette of lamb and hand-carved turkey breast with sausage, cranberry and Madeira stuffing. Vegan versions of two starters are offered.

In Findon and Patching

8. Findon Manor Hotel, High Street

Findon Manor is a hotel on the High Street in Findon village, north of Worthing. Its 2026 Christmas brochure sets a four-course Christmas Day lunch at £105, or £55 for children up to 12, with sittings at 12pm, 12.30pm, 3pm and 3.30pm.

Mains are roast turkey, a three-fish roast, beef Wellington or a vegan stuffed butternut squash; coffee and mince pies follow. The brochure says tables are held for two and a half hours, and adds a 12.5% service charge to all bills.

A £30 non-refundable deposit is due on booking, with the balance and pre-orders by 1 December 2026. It also sells a Christmas lunch to collect on Christmas Eve and cook at home, at £59.50 a head for at least two.

9. The World’s End, Patching

The World’s End is a Hall & Woodhouse pub on Arundel Road at Patching, just west of the Worthing boundary off the A27. Its Christmas page links a Christmas Day menu at three courses for £112.50, and a children’s menu for ages 10 and under at £35.

Mains include roast turkey paupiette with a Yorkshire pudding and duck fat gravy, a beetroot Wellington, roasted lamb noisette, pan-seared stone bass and aged rump steak; there are plant-based dishes at every course. The pub’s page says four-legged family members are looked after too.

The Waterside is a Greene King pub on Ferry Road in Shoreham. Its Christmas Day 2026 page offers four courses for £54.99, the lowest Christmas Day price on this list, and mentions a carvery with all the trimmings, Christmas burgers and baked camembert.

The page asks for a £10 deposit for adults and £10 for children, and wants menu choices by 11 December 2026 for bookings made by then.

11. Miller & Carter Lancing, Manor Road

Miller & Carter Lancing is the steakhouse chain’s branch at 43 Manor Road. Its 2026 Christmas Day menu PDF calls it a “Luxurious Christmas Day Menu” at £109.95 per person, with a duck, port and brandy parfait among the starters and Christmas pudding among the desserts.

The same menu offers a paid upgrade at £50 a head and states that no voucher or discount can be used with it. A separate young guests’ Christmas Day menu is “from £49.95 per person”.

Not on the list, and why

The Black Horse in Findon says on its Christmas page that it is closed on Christmas Day; it serves a Christmas party menu for groups of ten or more before then (two courses £32, three £36). The Gun Inn in Findon still showed its 2025 Christmas page on 2 November. The Broadwater (Greene King) and the Longshore in Shoreham both have Christmas Day pages, but neither showed a price we could read. The Ardington Hotel’s festive offer is a party lunch for twelve or more, not Christmas Day. We will add them when the prices are published.
